Curtis 1309 USB compatible programmer with FT232 TTL golf carts forklifts and many motor controllers

Описание: First things first I don't want to take credit for the information.
The source is from the forum buggiesgonewild.com which has tons of information about these Curtis motor controllers.
Curtis 1309 programmers are very expensive and cost about 300$.
In this video we use a FT232 RS232 ic board to communicate with the controller.
Steps and what we need:
1. Get a genuine FTDI FT232 breakout board
2. Download FT_PROG from the link, install it and apply supplied XML file

3. Source a 4 pin molex Mini-Fit-Jr. - I got mine from an old ATX power supply & GND to GND, TX to RX and RX to TX. If it does not work switch RX/TX
4. To get the 1314 software check this post:

and select file 1314-PCPS_OEM_4-6-7-467_setup.exe
5. Install and run the program and close it.
6. Using regedit from windows button navigate to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Curtis Instruments\1314 V4\Settings]
and check IAL and SAL entries are there. if not create them right mouse click and by selecting string. Value should be: v1ìD
7. Connect everything and verify your connections.
