1. Pastors Often Call for Giving
📖The Bible says, ""for God loves a cheerful giver."" (2 Corinthians 9:7) The Bible teaches that giving should be ""willing and joyful,"" not forced.
If your church pastor only says, ""The more you give, the greater the blessing,"" or even measures faith with money, then be careful! 📖Because the Lord has already warned: ""for you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith:"" (Matthew 23:23). A church that only talks about giving and not God's will has strayed from God's way.
If your pastor is always focused on your wallet, not your soul, please leave immediately!
2. No love for one another, only hypocrisy and perfunctory behavior.
📖The Lord said: ""By this all men will know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another."" (John 13:35) In a true church, brothers and sisters love, care for, and support one another.
If your church only says ""The Lord blesses you"" but never acts on it,
that is not love, but hypocrisy and perfunctory behavior.
When you fall, you need support; when you are in pain, you need God's word to provide.
If your church only offers perfunctory behavior, please leave immediately!
3. Not Guided by God's Word
📖The Lord said, ""If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed"" (John 8:31). A true church is centered on God's Word.
If your church only exalts its pastor and engages in personality cults, yet fails to witness to the Lord's word,
and discusses personal matters and politics during meetings, without sharing testimonies of practicing the Lord's word,
such a church is more like a club, not a spiritual home.
Because the Holy Spirit will not linger where there is no God's word. Please leave immediately!
4. Not Focusing on Welcoming the Lord's Second Coming
📖The Lord said, ""Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come"" (Matthew 24:42). Today, plagues, wars, earthquakes, floods, and other disasters occur frequently,
and the signs of the Lord's second coming are being fulfilled one by one.
If your church remains asleep, never discussing how to welcome the Lord's second coming,
and only maintains theological knowledge and religious rituals,
that is a sleeping church that will cause you to miss the opportunity to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Please leave immediately!
