My first international 3000m race, lining up against European champion Andreas Almgren and a stacked field of world-class athletes. I finished second in 7:34, just behind Almgren’s 7:31, and ahead of Olympians and established European runners.
With the World Championships quota set at the top 42 in the 5000m, and me currently sitting 41st, every race counts. This was a huge step in my push to secure a Worlds spot and prove myself on the international stage.
