फर्जी साइन मामले में गुरुवार को ममता बनर्जी के भतीजे अभिषेक बनर्जी बंगाल सीआईडी के सामने पेश हुए... साढ़े 5 घंटे तक चली पूछताछ के दौरान सीआईडी के अफसरों ने अभिषेक से उनकी डायरी के बारे में भी जानकारी ली.. सूत्रों की मानें तो सीआईडी ने अभिषेक को वो डायरी लेकर आने को कहा था.. जिसमें विधायकों के साइन होने का दावा किया जा रहा था... अब सीआईडी ने अभिषेक को 14 जून को दोबारा पूछताछ के लिए बुलाया है... इससे पहले जब अभिषेक बनर्जी दिल्ली से कोलकाता पहुंचे... तो एयरपोर्ट पर एक बार फिर उनका जबरदस्त विरोध हुआ...पहले से मौजूद भीड़ ने उन्हें घेर लिया..... लोगों ने अभिषेक बनर्जी को देखते ही सिग्नेचर चोर के नारे लगाने शुरू कर दिए....कड़े सुरक्षा घेरे के बावजूद भीड़ अभिषेक के बेहद करीब पहुंच गई...धक्कामुक्की होने लगी.. किसी तरह सुरक्षाकर्मियों ने अभिषेक को सुरक्षित गाड़ी में बिठाया... इससे पहले गुरुवार को अभिषेक बनर्जी ने पार्टी विधायकों के फर्जी साइन की जांच के मामले में सीआईडी की ओर से किसी भी सख्त कार्रवाई से सुरक्षा की मांग करते हुए हाईकोर्ट में अपील की थी...जिस पर सुनवाई करते हुए कलकत्ता हाईकोर्ट ने अभिषेक बनर्जी को दो हफ्ते के लिए कड़ी कार्रवाई से अंतरिम राहत दे दी... इसके साथ ही कोर्ट ने कहा कि जांच एजेंसी को जरूरत हो तो वे 24 घंटे पहले सूचना पर एजेंसी से मिलें....

On Thursday, Abhishek Banerjee appeared before the West Bengal CID in connection with the fake signature case. The interrogation lasted around 5.5 hours, during which CID officials reportedly questioned him about a diary allegedly linked to the signatures of legislators.

Sources suggest the CID had asked him to bring the diary containing claimed signatures of MLAs for verification. The agency has now summoned him again for further questioning on June 14.

Earlier, upon his arrival in Kolkata from Delhi, Abhishek Banerjee faced protests at the airport, where a crowd allegedly raised slogans of “signature thief” and surrounded him despite heavy security, leading to a brief scuffle before he was escorted to safety.

Before this, he had approached the Calcutta High Court seeking protection from strict coercive action during the investigation. The court granted him interim relief for two weeks and directed that the investigating agency must give 24 hours’ notice if his presence is required.
