Authentic worship leads us to do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God.
Yet, we confess that too often our lives become so cluttered with personal baggage that we worship you with distracted minds and drifting thoughts.
When we worship you with words and actions which do not arise from hearts centered on you;
Forgive us.
When concern over our outward appearance of faith is greater than our
generosity of spirit;
Forgive us.
When we choose to ignore your desire to work with us to create a genuinely human community where justice is done and mercy is truly experienced; 
Forgive us.
