Dedicated to Bob Moog, this track features over 90 stereo tracks of Minimoog Voyager. Everything was played in "live" by hand; there was no sequencing. The images are of the actual instrument you are hearing. Around the 5:00 mark, there are some pics of the store from which the Moog was purchased (Nova Musik).
The Voyager gets quite a workout in this piece, and I do my best to make it sound huge and tasty. In the first movement, the Moog mothership descends, tentacles of patch cables swirling, and abducts the listener to the far reaches of the galaxy at well beyond light speed. As for what happens after that? Use your imagination!
