Towed out to 700ft by a MONSTER 14ft hammerhead | Speed jigging Penn Spinfisher 8500 & Penn Rampage

Описание: Solo mission with the wind down. I caught 2 opleu, both were eaten by sharks. The second towed me from 100ft to almost 700ft finally breaking me off about 20 minutes later. I suspected a big tiger shark but it was my first hammer head and a giant. Decide for yourself from the footage but I think it was at least 12 maybe 15ft. It fought harder than any other shark I have ever hooked. Luckily for me the jigging was on fire. I caught 5 GT vertical jigging and another on a goat fish. About 5 sandbar sharks came up after the GT on the goat fish. They could have easily eaten it but seemed to stay away. While being towed out to 700ft I marked a massive school on bottom in 400-500ft. I ended up catching 5 alamaco jacks off it on a high low rig using tuna belly. Finally I hooked up on bottom in almost 700, but it managed to get the rig stuck on the bottom after about 20 seconds. In hind sight I should have ripped that thing off the bottom but I was totally beat after catching all those fish. It might have been a different species, you can bet I will get a rematch soon.
