Our designers Catherine Hong and Beth Ferrara’s journey took them to the country of Kenya, where over 870 species of butterflies flutter about the wildlife roaming East Africa.
Returning to our design studio in Los Angeles, Catherine captured their delicate and vivid patterns using watercolors to showcase their colorful wings.
Each butterfly on the Zeena Small Tote has been hand painted, printed and then embroidered on leather with 10,000 stitches composed of 14 varied colors – such lifelike detail!
