BACKGROUND

The “Sonic 2019 Cut” was a fan project made by teens, who wanted to remake the whole Sonic Movie to replace the final movie Sonic design to the original ugly Sonic design. It was treated as an official professional project, as the teaser posters and images that were shown looked legit. However, it turned the posters and everything was made by ai. More information came out in the Discord server for the project and the Twitter account for it, with trailers being leaked and racist comments by the teens being made. With certain YouTubers covering this controversy and word being spread, the original teens behind the project called it quits. Now, there's new teens behind everything, continuing this failure of a project.
