Not a Speedrun, rather an efficient way to solo the game.
Goals: Get all Tomes, reach XP cap (161k), use highly reproducible strats — or no "YOLO-strats".
Bonus: No Mutamin's Garden ("Basilisk farm").
Rough explanation:
Candle Keep: Talking to the Monk exactly 30 times grants 300 gold; upstairs you can break open 2 valuable chests (both require above 18 strength) for some additional Gold and an extremely rare Potion of Clarity, which either helps early on against dangerous mindcontrol effects (Sirines f.e.) or can be saved for longer fights, where Greenstone Amulet's charge might run out due to short duration.
My route starts with some map revealing (especially to the north, since Ulgoth Beard's Inn has some important items) and easy quests, which either don't require any or just extremely easy fights.
I also picked up some hidden valuables, like a diamond or the Ring of Wizardry which sells for 9000 Gold.
I perform a bunch of map hopping, since is can reduce the walking time by quite a lot, if you enter a map from the correct side.

Key Items in the early game:
Wand of Sleep, can be used by almost any character with an Int-score of at least 9. Puts Giant Spiders, various animals, the guys wearing the Dex-gloves and many trash mobs to sleep, which a) impairs them and b) let's you land hits with guarantee, no matter how bad your Thac0 is.
Various containers.
Algernon's Cloak (be careful with your reputation as a Ranger, don't go below 8)
Scroll of Undead (either for the map east of Nashkel or for Durlag's tower).
2 Amulets from Nashkel Carnival (Shield and Fireball)
Weapons of choice:
The enchanted Darts from High Hedge are really nice:
3 attacks per round, enchanted and deal additional damage on a failed save (some tougher enemies have pretty bad saves like the revenant on the aforementioned undead map).
Some Darts of Stunning can be bought a Ulgoth's.
Greenstone Amulet: Probably one of the strongest items in the game. It counters various traps, or let's you fight Mages and Clerics w/o fear of Spooks, mindcontrols or Hold effects, which can easily end your journey.
Something to counter Basilisk's petrification — either to farm them early at Mutamin's, later at Durlag's Tower or survive random encounters with them (pretty rare when soloing)

My game is slightly tweaked with the Tweaks Anthology Mod.
Most notable changes:
BG1 proficiency styles, so you have f.e. a single category for Bows, which includes any bow, Large Swords for Long Swords, Katanas, Scimitars etc., or Missile Weapons, which includes X-Bows, Darts and Slings → Note, that an Archer cannot naturally invest more than 2 points in Darts or Slings, so this build is not possible w/o mods.
Allow enchanted armor with an additional +X Item, so you can wear an Armor +1 and a single ring OR amulet OR cloak +1
Additional Bags: You gain access to several containers, like a bag of gems at Friendly Arms Inn, or an ammunition case at Beregost's smith
