Punjab Poll Bugle: Rahul Gandhi Targets Bhagwant Mann Over Drugs, AAP Hits Back

Описание: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi sounded the poll bugle in Punjab at a rally in Sangrur, launching an attack against Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and the Aam Aadmi Party government. Targeting the state administration over the drug menace, Gandhi questioned AAP's promise of making Punjab drug-free and took a personal swipe at Mann regarding his alcohol consumption. He also invoked the killing of singer Sidhu Moose Wala, alleging a rising pattern of threats and intimidation against talented youngsters in the state. Gandhi further questioned Union Home Minister Amit Shah over law and order and past drug seizures in Gujarat. In response, the Aam Aadmi Party hit back sharply, calling his remarks against the Punjab Chief Minister inappropriate. AAP accused Gandhi of presenting no vision or roadmap for Punjab, while questioning his silence over the alleged assault of a Dalit man at a Congress office in Chandigarh.
