Ingredients (Serves 5)
-500g ground pork (preferably pork shoulder with some fat to keep the filling moist)
-80g carrots, 100g onions – finely chopped
-40g glass noodles – soaked until soft, then cut into short strands
-20g shiitake and wood ear mushrooms – soaked, cleaned, and finely chopped
-100g bean sprouts, 80g fresh herbs, green onions – finely chopped
-2 eggs (to help bind the filling)
-30 spring roll pastry sheets
Seasonings:
-1.5 tsp chicken bouillon powder
-1 tsp MSG (umami seasoning)
-1.5 tsp ground pepper
