I know everyone expected him to light the league on fire upon his debut, but there was a very distinct possibility that he'd also struggle. Instead, Vladdy turned in a solid rookie season with most of the expected growing pains and lessons.
The light-tower power is obvious, as is the immensely accurate batting eye. There were times when Guerrero would expand the zone, especially when going through slumps, but these should be areas of improvement for 2020 and beyond. His defence also surprised some people, although a long term move to first is probably in the cards.
Going to be an exciting couple of years!
