This time of year is SO SO busy!
We are rushing here there and everywhere in a constant blur of socialising, preparing and planning. During these times (and at other busy times) the brain can often move into ‘autopilot’ mode. It forgets to be in the present and is drawn towards thinking about the future or reflecting on the past.
By dedicating just a short amount of time to mindfulness can help to keep you grounded, present and relaxed. My mindful moment today is going to be preparing and drinking a coffee (one of my favourite things!).
So I have recorded a short mindfulness track (less than 5 minutes!) that will guide you through a hot drink mindful exercise.
Please join me in it with your brew or even just watch to hopefully give you some ideas of what you can do on your next coffee break.
