We saw a major flaw with the OEM Front Shock Sliders on the Pro R and Turbo R Walker Evans models. The OEM slider was oval shaped, very sloppy, and when spring preload was added caused the slider to not stay interlocked. We redesigned the slider with tighter tolerances and improved material to help mitigate issues with shock body damage. Our slider is machined out of Delrin material instead of the injection molded OEM style slider. It fits securely around the shock body and prevents issues from deflection as the spring is compressed. Because of the material used, these sliders are not necessarily a cheap option but they will save you money in the long run, by preventing shock body damage and requiring your bodies to be replaced.
