A Story of Resilience

Описание: As I look back on the past year, it's been a rollercoaster of challenges and triumphs, a true testament to the strength we find within ourselves. At the beginning of the year, I set out on a mission to carve a new path, transforming my garage into a personal studio—a haven for inspiration to thrive. The duo with ‪@carsonmcmaster‬ was re established.

The journey unfolded with a commitment to community, teaming up with friends to acquire skills and equipment. From earning my scuba certification to building my fishing boat and getting a truck camper, each step was a building block towards something greater. Together with ‪@ChaosDivers‬ , I volunteered my skills as a videographer, editor, and valuable team member, working tirelessly on bringing answers to families while strengthening the bonds I had with Jacob, Lindsay, and ‪@depthsofhistory‬ .

This collaborative spirit led to a reconnection with ‪@DougBishop‬ , and together, we showcased the new non-profit @unitedsearchcorps. Our adventures took us to Florida, joining forces with ‪@ReconDiveRecovery‬ and ‪@Sunshinestatesonar‬ in the search for missing persons. Our efforts uncovered a pond with over 30 vehicles, some tied to high-profile crimes.

The journey then took me to Arizona, where I spent a week with ‪@bonerush‬ , contributing to the resolution of cold cases. Working alongside local law enforcement, we recovered and cleared multiple vehicles. Amidst these triumphs, challenges arose as my husky suffered a stroke. My community rallied fundraising the funds to et her the care she needed and allowing me to dedicate the time and effort to Sequoia's rehabilitation. Together we witnessed her regain the use of her legs which was a testament to collective strength.

Focusing on honing my dive skills, I embarked on dives with my scuba mentor ‪@Nicgyver‬ , absorbing invaluable lessons in proper techniques and safety. Continuing my dive education, I offered my videography skills to cave divers Gus, Woody and Mike at ‪@DIVETALK‬ , immersing myself in the world of next level badass divers.

The year concluded with a heartwarming story of survival—partnering with the talented ‪@Devon-Carroll‬ we worked together to recover a truck filled with tools for a devoted mechanic and father. This mission underscored the impact of community support, providing him with the chance at life again.

Yet, the years end posed a significant challenge—a lawsuit from an old friend that threatened my community, family, business, and livelihood. Once again, the strength of my community shone through as in 3 days we raised the funds needed to defend my channel and work.

As I step into 2024, I reflect on the progress made. Each might seem insignificant, but together, they comprise a story of resilience.
