Описание:
This backyard bird study captures active feeding during a heavy daytime blizzard on February 22.
Snow falls thick and fast as sparrows and dark-eyed juncos continue foraging despite harsh winter conditions.
To support the birds during the storm, black oil sunflower seeds were put out first, followed later by a mixed songbird seed blend.
You’ll see:
• House sparrows
• Dark-eyed juncos
• A northern cardinal
• A squirrel joining briefly
The birds take shelter under a nearby cypress behind the base of a natural stone bird bath, returning repeatedly to feed between gusts of snow.
Filmed in natural winter light with visible hydrangea stems and dense snowfall creating dramatic texture in the scene.
Natural ambient sound only — no music, no narration.
Part of an ongoing seasonal backyard wildlife archive documenting real winter behavior.
