Generative Ambient with Empress Zoia

Описание: I just received Zoia in the mail the day before a giant winter storm snowed us all in. The timing couldn't have been more perfect.

This is my first attempt at a generative patch. It consists of two audio oscillators, one FM modulator, and a looper. I'm using random CV generator to fill a sequencer, and another random to open the ADSR.

The second oscillator is very similar, but includes long attack/release times and a FM input from the third oscillator. I have the FM happening in the same key and with slower Hz waves to keep things mostly tonal.

The looper is set to randomly oscillator one, and I'm using a slow LFO to switch between playing forward and backward. I also have it pitched up a fifth (7 semitones) for some variety.

Everything is running into reverb lite to save some DSP.
