Mid Hants Railway - Steam Illuminations and Father Christmas Express - December 2025

Описание: With Christmas just around the corner, the Mid Hants Railway are currently hosting their series of festive events. This includes the 'Steam Illuminations', which have become a popular addition to the Watercress Line's calendar, since its debut in 2020. On Thursday 11th December, these trains would be hauled by SR Merchant Navy No. 35005 'Canadian Pacific' and LSWR S15 No. 30506. Both locos would take charge of two round trips each, departing Alresford and Alton respectively.

The 'Father Christmas Express' trains operates between Ropley and Medstead & Four Marks during daylight hours on select days in December. On Saturday 13th December, LMS Ivatt 2MT No. 41312 would provide the motive power.
