🔹TIPS FOR BEST RESULTS🔹
-use Polaroid 600 film
-do the lift sooner than later, as soon as 30 minutes after taking the photo and no longer than a couple days
-take your time, go slow and don’t be afraid to mess up. As long as the emulsion is in the water, it can be altered
-use hot water
-after getting the emulsion off of the backing, place the emulsion in a separate cup of water and fill the tray with fresh, warm water to get rid of the chemicals

Polaroid Emulsion Lift Process

✨Emulsion lift process -
🔹chop off the edges of the Polaroid (best results freshly shot polaroid 600 film)
🔹carefully split the image, removing the backing
🔹fill container with warm/ hot water
🔹inset the image
🔹move image around to loosen emulsion
🔹gently peel emulsion from the plastic
🔹straighten out using small, soft brush
🔹slide watercolor paper/ material of choice into water and under image
🔹alight image onto the paper
🔹place thumbs on two corners and slowly pull out of the water
🔹holding 2 corners, dip each edge until you get desired effect
🔹make minor adjustments with brush
🔹lay on a paper towel to dry
