Thomas Müller (born 13 September 1989) is a German professional footballer who plays as a forward or attacking midfielder for MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps. He’s known to be one of the best players of his generation, yet he is very underrated.

Starting his career at Bayern München, he played alongside the defensive fullback great Philipp Lahm, electric winger duo Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben, innovative goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, and dominant striker Robert Lewandowski, to name a few. With his unique style of play (expert in finding undetected space, hence the nickname “der Raumdeuter”) as well as his good shooting, passing ability, and tactical intelligence, he shaped his very own position that’s hard to replicate.

Having won 35 trophies with the Bavarians (including a record 13 Bundesliga titles, 6 DFB-Pokals, 8 DFB-Supercups, and 2 Champions League trophies to name a few achievements), he’s the most decorated German footballer. For Germany, he has played in eight tournaments (4 World Cups and 4 European Championships), clinching the bronze medal in the 2010 edition of the World Cup and later winning the 2014 World Cup.

After retiring from the German national team and leaving Bayern München, he joined fellow Canadian club Vancouver Whitecaps, leading them to the MLS Cup final against Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami (they went on to lose 3-1).

His career has hit some highs and lows, but with his adaptive playstyle, humor off the pitch, and individual and team successes, Thomas Müller is a great example of never giving up. With that being said, I hope you guys enjoy this edit.
