Singhara Fish Fry Ingredients:
400 gms Singhara Fish (catfish)
Lemon Juice
1 tbsp Ginger - Garlic Paste
Salt
2 tbsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tbsp Corn Flour
3 tbsp Gram Flour
1 tbsp Carrom Seeds (roasted)
2-3 tbsp Water
Raw Mango Powder

Method: Let's start with Taking Singhara Fish (catfish) in the bowl in which add Lemon Juice, Ginger - Garlic Paste & Salt. Next mix it together properly and marinate for 10 minutes, after 10 minutes add Red Chilli Powder, Corn Flour, Gram Flour, Carom Seeds (roasted) mix it again and add Water. Next Frying the Fish in the Pan (as shown in the video) and finally add in Raw Mango Powder on top of it. By this, your Fish Fry is ready to serve.

What Is Singhara Fish?
Sperata seenghala, the Giant river-catfish, is a species of bagrid catfish. It is known locally as Guizza, Guizza ayer, Auri, Ari, Pogal, Singhara and Seenghala, among other names.It is found in southern Asia in the countries of Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Nepal and Bangladesh with reports of occurrence in Myanmar,Thailand and Yunnan, China. It can reach a length of 150 cm, though lengths up to 40 cm are more usual. It is commercially fished for human consumption as well as being a popular gamefish with a reputation for being a good fighter when hooked. It is carnivorous in the diet. It can be distinguished from other sperata species by its spatulate, blunt snout, relatively short barbels and mouth that is only 1/3 as wide as the head is long. .
