E11 fledged strongly from the attic nest tree branch at 7:56am. It was an awesome flight around the pasture, but E11 could not find a good landing spot to re-enter the nest tree. E11 flew back around and two crows followed, but E11 avoided them, landing on top of the nest tree, but falling through the branches past the nest and then corrected, flying to a front pine. E11 perched there and watched E10 fly to another front pine, eventually flying to the tree e10 was in. E10 then flew back toward the nest tree, and past, to perch and play in the old cam tree. E11 watched again as they studied the 'new' tree. E11 even grabbed a stick from a branch, perhaps thinking about bringing it back to the nest. At 8:20am, E11 flew strongly back to the nest, landing perfectly into the nest. E11 then joined E10 on the attic branch where wings and 'kisses' were exchanged in celebration. Way to Go E11!!
