History:
The Cliffs Tea Rooms and Gardens on Keystoke Toll Road, Weston Super Mare, was a traditional seaside venue, and a beautiful reminder of holidays by the sea in post war Britain. The last proprietor, the late Mr Dudley Bailey had done a lot of construction and redecoration work on the property before re-opening the cafe and tea rooms some years ago.

It is truly sad to record that the Cliffs Tearooms & Gardens have since shut, Mr Bailey has passed from this world, and that in October 2017, the closed tearooms were destroyed in a fire started deliberately. Today, the remains of the tea rooms stand as a burnt out hulk, fenced off from public access
'Cliff cafe and gardens' in Weston-super-Mare. The cafe closed in 2013 and has been derelict since and was set on fire in 2017
