of Babel's keep, and cloaks our reasoning,
we sing to pierce through all that has been said.

Our rigid designators are believed
to reach across imaginable worlds
and ground a truth that only is inferred
from shadows in the caves of consciousness.

For all the greatness that it has achieved,
humanity's conceptual prowess
has been betrayed by words so nebulous
to subjugate us for millennia
under enigmas of philosophy.

As nothingness is reified which each
diagonally oriented phrase,
through Cantor's lens we finally can see
the forming clouds of inconsistency
laced by the winding plumes of irony.

For purpose, truth, reality, we seek
in moments caught between a blink and tear.
Yet silence has revealed a truth austere,
the search for meaning never was made clear.
Only by stillness of the voice we find
a way to let perception free the mind.
