This is a 'bonus' video of sorts, left over from the Vibe Machine shoot for the video uploaded yesterday featuring the Rola JTM-45. I felt the Vibe Machine sounded so good through the mighty Laney VH-100R that I had to share it with you. Hence the lack of (much) commentary - it's mostly just playing. The Vibe Machine is probably the best of the portable Uni-Vibe clones and I feel it really shines through the beast that is the Laney VH-100R.

The Vibe Machine by DryBell of Croatia was a minor revelation when it was released about three years ago. It offered (and still does) a superb high-quality reproduction of the original Uni-Vibe in a compact and far more user friendly configuration with the added bonus of power and buffer options, and controls for range, symmetry and output volume. The sound didn't disappoint either. In fact it was pretty mind-blowing. The Vibe Machine was and remains a winner.

This updated version offers:

Universal compatibility with most *expression pedals available today. If yours doesn't plug-and-play immediately, there is a calibration process to help it do so.

The Intensity/Speed ratio is not so mutually dependent anymore. You will enjoy full sweep at any level of intensity.

You'll notice an improvement in the Chorus setting and there's a heap more 'throb' on tap.

This version also offers improved Leslie functionality (see video for demo).

*Normally I'd use my Mission EP-1 but it's out on the road with the crew so I've used an M-Audio EX-P instead.
