Bringing new insights, analyst Mike Zuzolo, president of Global Commodity Analytics, predicts that the hog market market most affected in the Covid-19 crisis due to supply cuts in addition to crude oil, after the week that fuel prices have gone negative in the U.S., during the weekly conversation with ConnectedFarmer.
Zuzolo also mentioned the current disconnecton on prices paid or sold by producers related to final consumer prices. The analyst expects that the USDA's Monday numbers would put corn planting would be between 15% and 20%, while soybean planting would be between 8% and 12% of the total surface, citing the adequate soil temperatures.
