Welcome to the Collector Series—a dive into the spirited world of breweriana collecting! The Cone Top Brewery Museum has partnered with the National Association Breweriana Advertising (NABA) to showcase the passion and stories behind the collections of dedicated NABA members. From vintage outdoor signs to lithographs that once graced taproom walls, each collector shares their passion for the hobby, how they got started and some of their favorite pieces.
Breweriana provides a remarkable glimpse of our past and the American breweries that have shaped today's culture. These collector stories are a testament to why preserving brewery history is so important. Through these videos we are able to represent the collector’s appreciation for breweriana and we hope to create a spark in new generations to join the conservation of beer memorabilia. These collector videos will be a part of the vast collection and ongoing preservation effort at The Cone Top Brewery Museum in Vicksburg, Michigan.

About the Collector:
Don and Mary Ellen Roussin
Maryland Heights, MO
The moment you enter the comfortable home of Don and Mary Ellen Roussin, their passion for collecting outstanding breweriana and the many years they’ve spent doing so is readily evident. Their specialty is breweriana from the St. Louis and Southern Illinois areas, and there are extraordinary and diverse representations of breweriana from both the well-known and obscure breweries of that region on display throughout their house.
Don is a highly regarded brewery historian and one of the authors of the seminal book on St. Louis brewing history: “St. Louis Brews: The History of Brewing in the Gateway City.” He served for 11 years as a member of the NABA Board of Directors and has been a frequent contributor to the “Breweriana Collector” magazine.
