This is my first time ever on this river, and today I’m doing what every prospector should do before going all-in — testing multiple spots.
I hit inside bends, gravel bars, and natural drop zones, running test pans from several locations to see what this river is really holding. Some spots were dead… others showed promise… and then one pan changed everything when a chunky piece of gold popped out.
Now the big question 👀
👉 Is this river worth dredging?
👉 Should I bring the highbanker?
