Camaro SS Headlight bulb replacement

Описание: Recently, the driver's side headlight bulb went out on my Camaro. I ordered up a new set of bulbs from The Retrofit Source as they are my favorite automotive lighting company and their products have served me well for years. My Tacoma has been running a set of their Morimoto bulbs for over 10 years now without issue! I got a set of Morimoto bulbs in 5000K as I felt it would provide a cleaner, white light as opposed to the factory 4300K bulbs that have a slight yellow tint.

A big factor here is also cost. The two Morimoto bulbs were $90 vs $150 for a single bulb from the autoparts! That's extra annoying when I know a Morimoto bulb is going to treat me better than an autoparts one smh lol.

The installation itself is not ultra hard, but it is laborious and it sucks due to the packaging of the headlights in the engine bay. On both sides. you have to contend with the diagonal metal bars that run behind the headlights. Visibility into the area is poor, I scarcely managed to get a Camera shot of the connector and bulb in there. Over by the driver's side, you have to move the intake box out of the way, luckily the box just pops off. I'm sure this could be done easily by someone with small hands, but for most of us, this is a pain. The process itself is just removing the cap that seals the light, undoing the connector that goes to the bulb, and removing the bulb by turning it counter clockwise. Installation of the new bulb is the reverse of removal. Sounds easy right? Maybe if you're a tiny elf lol.
