From 1989 to 2003, Robin & Walter greeted guests at Disney MGM Studios’ “The Magic of Disney Animation” with a 9-minute short about how Disney animated films are made. 

The film was directed by Jerry Rees, whose credits include "The Brave Little Toaster," "Tron," "CinéMagique," "Extra Terrorestrial Alien Encounter" and "The Fox and the Hound." Love the Genie from "Aladdin"? Well, you can thank BTN for planting the seed of casting Robin as the lovable and hilarious character. Directors John Musker & Ron Clements even pay tribute to BTN with the Genie wearing a similar costume to Robin's from the short! 

And those books from the set? Yep, they were really that big! Here's layout artist Darrell Rooney & Jerry Rees posing on the storybook set; unfortunately, after filming, the set was destroyed but Jerry still has the Pinocchio silhouette marker from the bind of the book (seen right behind him in the photo).
