Note: since I am only sporadically into Astronomy, you may not find me readily available. There are plenty of people 'better' than me anyway.After decades, I am still dabbing at it, 'always a student' - the only way to learn.Also sometime videos may 'seem' long, for the non-interested. But for the analyser mind, they are actually short!If you are starting now, start with a GOOD pair of standard binoculars or if you can afford it, buy a 'dedicated' binoculars (possibly a 60-80mm) just 'watching' the night sky LIVE and learn your way around using your mobile phone + a suitable application such as Stellarium or Sky Safari - there are others.
You can also watch The Sun with binoculars but 'WARNING' ...

Get a a good quality Solar White Light sheet - usually A4 sized and build yourself 2x shields to fit on the main lenses (the ones that are towards The Sun).

TEST THEM EVERY time you intend to use them NOT on The Sun, but on the Blue sky near it or even better - if you have a white/magnolia or similar light colour walls reflecting solar light - test them there.

Test them = see if there are any micro holes in it.
You do NOT want to go blind!
It is NOT a joke.
