I have created a way to use your ruffler foot and make ruffles the whole width and length of your material. This pillow comes out looking very expensive and you would think it took days to create when actually it took me about 1 1/2 hours to make. You can use any sewing machine for this technique as long as you can attach a ruffler foot. This is stuffed with a regular standard pillow and sewn on a Janome 10,000 sewing machine. I did use my serger for various parts of this, but it would not be absolutely necessary. I feel that a beginner could do this project if they took each step closely.
