Bosnian Serb forces close to Sarajevo have been strengthening
their defences with captured U.N. tanks and vehicles. On Tuesday,
(30/5) wide views of the sprawling Lukavica barracks, just south
of Sarajevo, show the Serbs have already placed white-painted U.N.
tanks in positions facing the Bosnian capital. Seen from the
Mojmilo hill on the Government side of the lines, Serb army
soldiers have also been using U.N. mobile bowsers to bring water
into the barracks.
