MINI MX Season Opener

Описание: The Mini Motocross Series is always a blast. It’s a safe track, good people, good vibes, and lots of racing. I would always leave at the end of the day exhausted but feeling like it was seriously the funnest night ever.

So why am I just now posting footage that’s almost a year old?

Race vlogs are my favorite form of content to make. But they are also the hardest. I would put a lot of pressure on myself to live up to the viewers expectations. I wanted each race vlog to be a mix of great racing, humor, banter, bike work, artistic shots story telling (with a beginning, middle and end) etc.

I’d come home with a few hours of footage that needed to be sorted and evaluated to see what was valuable and what wasn’t. It was 20+ hours of work and I’d just put it off and edited the easier videos first.

Which is a shame because the kids did their part and rode great, they progressed and they put in a lot of effort. And I think people look forward to watching them. But for me to have stayed current on the content it would have taken a lot of focus and no distractions. 2024 was full of distractions, challenges and I never was able to get into a flow.

2025 if a new year, new era, and for us brings new goals. But instead of just starting fresh, I owe it to post this content in some form, especially because this was Luke’s last races on a mini bike.

So I’m going through the race footage (what I can find that didn’t get lost or deleted). My goal is to post something everyday until it’s done, and then we can move on. These will be simpler edits. It will probably be messy and not have context. But it is what it is.

Thanks for all the support from friends, family and viewers. We couldn’t have done it without you. We are excited to work together as a family to put out the best content we can. Let’s go 2025 👊🏻
