Is this a contender for the best "Brown Sound" pedal on the market? Hmmm, I reckon it might be.
The Brown Feather is made by one-man Japanese perfectionist operation, Tomoyuki Mitsuma. Tomoyuki is also responsible for the Landmighty Overdrive, another pedal that seems to have found favour out there; and rightly so.
The Brown Feather offers something a little different to other Brown Sound stomps. I can't quite put my finger on it but it's there, for sure. Maybe it's the resonant frequency that seems to be running through it, or just the dynamic playability of it. I'm not sure what it is, exactly. But I am sure that I like it. A lot.
This video was made with my PRS Studio and HIWATT SA212, running clean as a whistle.
