A 43-year-old man from Greystanes has faced Parramatta Local Court charged with threatening to kill Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. Gregory Tate allegedly made multiple threatening phone calls to the Prime Minister's Sydney electorate office on 15 December, the day after the Bondi massacre, and was arrested by the AFP the following day. The matter has been adjourned until later this month for legal advice, with a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment if convicted.
