2023 24 KLCA Activity Summary

Описание: This video serves as a comprehensive summary of the activities undertaken during my term as the President of the 24th Korean Liver Cancer Association (KLCA), spanning from July 2022 to June 30, 2023.

Throughout the year, our team dedicated our utmost efforts to curate exceptional programs, which included 2 VCAMP, 2 STC, 1 Annual Conference, and 1 Conjoined Conference (TLW) in collaboration with 4 prominent Korean Liver-related Societies. While we acknowledge that perfection was not attainable, I take immense pride in the accomplishments we achieved through the collective endeavors of all executive members.

The guiding principle of the 24th KLCA was encapsulated in the acronym M-S-G, representing Multidisciplinary, Standardization, and Globalization. In line with this ethos, we orchestrated a dedicated VCAMP focused on Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and consistently emphasized a multidisciplinary approach across all our programs. Furthermore, one of the notable achievements of the 24th KLCA was the formulation of the KLCA expert consensus recommendation on TACE for HCC. This significant accomplishment will serve as a guiding light for beginners in the field of TACE procedures.

Importantly, this year marked the initiation of KLCA's international outreach, as we forged connections with both the International Liver Cancer Association (ILCA) and the Japanese Liver Cancer Association (JLCA) through Joint Symposia. We fervently hope that these collaborative efforts will foster constructive joint projects, transcending the conventional practices of exchanging lecture speakers.

Once again, I extend my heartfelt appreciation to all the executive members of the 24th KLCA. Without your unwavering dedication and shared time, none of our achievements would have been possible. I hope that this experience will be etched in your memories as one of the most significant and rewarding chapters of your lives.
