Returning home to Sydney aboard an Emirates A380. The sistership EDE to the one we flew on from Sydney, EDD. Our seats in the forward cabin provided for a mostly quiet experience but even with a mostly night time flight my sleep was interrupted by children running around.
Once we overflew The Maldives we entered night time until our arrival at Sydney, which as you can see is still quite dark and a little bit wet on our approach. The view out of the left window still pays off though as we have a 16R approach taking us past the city and its landmarks.
We must have followed the Singapore A380 in which can be seen taxying to her gate at the end of the video among other, more familiar airlines.
