Black must be prepared if you play the Scandinavian for the TENNISON GAMBIT, a dangerous gambit by white. This video shows many of the traps to be ready for and how to best defend against all of white's ideas in this gambit in order to get a good game with an advantage.
Key Ideas -
1. Be very cautious of playing h6 to attempt to kick away the Knight
2. Don't be pawn-greedy - sometimes giving back the pawn is best
3. Counter-attacks are risky as black - best is a simple opening and defense to get an advantage and the tactics will come later once you are castled and safe.
