RARE MILEAGE! CN L546 on the Uxbridge sub (mostly) (MAY 25-26/24)

Описание: CN 9450, CN 9555 (CN L546) had a rare mileage mission on this night. They had to go lift ONT 1603 from the YDHR in Lincolnville. Follow along as we chase the journey.

Clip 1- 0:00- With 3 cars on the drawbar, they arrive at Scarborough GO to wait on the final Stouffville GO train to pass before their path clears up. Coincidentally, a Lakeshore GO train departs, racing them out of the station.

Clip 2- 0:59- The final Stouffville GO train meets CN L546 at Scarborough Jct. Leading is one of the final 8 F59PH locomotives rostered by GO Transit. I did not document the number of the F59.

Clip 3- 1:33- After working Home Lumber on the GECO spur, CN 546 set off for Lincolnville with CN 9555 leading. Here they are passing the historic Markham train station, an appearance 10 years in the making.

Clip 4- 2:08- After retrieving ONT 1603 from Lincolnville, CN L546 passes through the Stouffville GO station, passing SNS CN Stouffville. This is the first CN train to pass the CN Stouffville sign since 2014. The K3L on CN 9450 blares for the crossing south of the station, and the mechanical bell rings nicely. Who knows when or if Stouffville will hear those noises from a train again (it's exclusively GO who uses exclusively Graham-White E-bells and KC5A horns)

Clip 5- 2:29- Just south of Stouffville, CN L546 passes through the 9th Line railway crossing. The K3L blows yet again.

Clip 6- 2:57- CN 546 rolls through Kennedy GO, approaching the GECO spur where they must rearrange their train before heading back to Oshawa. My phone was propped up by a traffic cone and the vibrations of the train caused it to do an oopsies.

Clip 7- 3:28- CN 9555, CN 9450, ONT 1603 (CN 546) (7 cars) flies through Guildwood GO station doing trackspeed as they race back to Oshawa. A good test for 1603 who had been used to all of 10mph over the last year+. Sorry for the shoddy video work, I was doing it handheld and the train shot a couple rocks up into my face. Stay back kids!
