The Old City of Zamość UNESCO World Heritage Site is a small trading post town in eastern Poland. It was founded in the 16th century by a local aristocrat named Jan Zamoski, who wanted to create a trading hub like the towns of northern Italy. So he hired an architect, and they got to work! They also used an ingenious combination of policies to attract merchants and traders, watch on to find out more.
