So in this video, I explore Ardnahoe’s journey from its first cask, to its inaugural release in 2024, and a full review of the Aqvavitae Ardnahoe, a Small Batch 6 Year Old. At 55% ABV, non-chill filtered and full of bourbon-cask character.

A review of this latest Ardnahoe covering the nose, palate, and score. Comparing it with Islay icons like Laphroaig Cask Strength and Talisker Special releases and has got me asking is Ardnahoe the future of Islay whisky and the best new distillery? Or do contenders like Lochlea, Raasay, and Torabhaig steal the spotlight?
