Today’s video is a special one.
I headed back to North Lakes, the course where I played most of my junior golf. I haven’t been back there in about 5–6 years, so this was a proper trip down memory lane. Same fairways, same holes… just a slightly older (hopefully better) golfer.
I filmed a relaxed 9-hole vlog with no real expectations just wanted to enjoy being back where it all started. Somehow it turned into my best 9-hole score ever, and in the middle of it all there was one of the wildest moments I’ve had on a golf course… a helicopter dipping into the lake grabbing water for a nearby fire. Safe to say it turned into a bit of a fire round in more ways than one.
This one’s a mix of nostalgia, good golf (for once), and just documenting the journey. No big production just a camera, a course that means a lot to me, and a round I won’t forget.
