Описание: The Blues & Roots Digital Archive (BluesArchive.org) is very pleased to bring you blues legend Luther 'Guitar Junior' Johnson in one of the first post pandemic shows in Massachusetts, over the Memorial Day weekend. Performing with his band The Magic Rockers, Luther's voice was stronger than ever as this hour long set included blues standards and originals from Luther's long career. The venue was The Porch - Southern Fare & Juke Joint in Medford, a few miles outside of Boston. Their menu of bbq and southern dishes was quite good, and we were treated very well by the owner, Jonathan, and his staff. This is the second of two sets played that night, and the reaction by the fans was such that Luther has been booked to return to The Porch later this summer. Both sets saw Luther introduced by Holly Harris, long time Boston area blues radio personality and currently host of Spinning The Blues.
