Описание: This is a 4 day 3 night trip on the Black river in North Carolina. We started at the 903 bridge over the Great Coharie Creek and ended at Hunts Bluff access off Longview Rd. The journey was approximately 48.7 miles. This is a beautiful paddle with lots of sand beaches as well as high bluffs. We were fortunate to be doing this paddle at low water. We paddled this in the spring of 2021. The water was still cold but we had 80 degree days which made it refreshing. The fishing was real good. I caught several largemouth bass some good sized blue gill and had a few bowfin mixed in. The purpose of this trip was to search for the giant bald cypress trees that dwell with in the swaps. We found them and they are impressive to say the least! I recommend this paddle. Be aware that there will be downed trees some of which can block the whole river and will require you to portage or cut through. We had a blast and look forward to doing this paddle again!!
