During the 2024 Singapore Grand Prix Qualifying session, the Projected Ideal Time was calculated by combining the fastest sector times from different drivers:

Norris: 26.546s in sector 1
Norris: 37.6915s in sector 2
Verstappen: 25.2985s in sector 3
By adding these sector times together, the projected ideal lap time was calculated to be 1:29.350, indicating a difference of -0.175s compared to the pole time set by Lando Norris, which was 1:29.525.
