Описание: I don't know what type of wood the hearth and spindle are, as there were many different trees on the property. I found the sticks on the ground in the middle of a crowd. The hearth and spindle were very hard woods. Both were different types. The bearing block was cut from a dead branch on a spruce and worked very well. I collected sap from the side of the tree to help lube the bearing block more. The ember was giving me a really hard time to form a coal, but still worked after adding and taking away air.
