In this episode, the Tiny Forest is covered in a thick blanket of snow. Daisy, a clumsy young fawn, is desperately trying to climb Crystal Hill to reach her mother and the fresh clover at the top. However, the path is frozen solid, and her smooth hooves keep sliding back down.
Roro the Rabbit realizes that muscles aren't the answer—Science is!. He teaches the team about Friction (Low Friction vs. High Friction). Watch how the team works together to invent special "Anti-Slip Boots" using rough pine bark and vines. It is a perfect STEM lesson for kids to understand why smooth surfaces are slippery and how rough surfaces grip!.
