This video will show how a gun with the Piercing Mod can have pin-point accuracy.
So why does the gun become as accurate as an HVR?
I think that this is because every bullet/pellet/LTL-based gun has a cone-of-spread (where the peak of the cone lies where the barrel is and the base of the cone is opposite and away from the gun, circling the inside of the cross-hairs) that, when intersected, gives you worse or better odds of hitting a target depending on where the intersection occurs. So if I'm hugging a wall, and I shoot at that wall, the bullets will hit the same spot, with no spread, as long as I manage the recoil. Now, if I'm hugging a door, which I can see through AND shoot through, then technically I have the pin-point accuracy that I wasn't able to use before--due to the door being "hugged"--and can take down unsuspecting opp.
This also works while outside MMS. Try it out and see for yourself.
